They contain the active ingredient sodium citrate, which neutralises the acidity of urine, helping to relieve the discomfort of cystitis symptoms and creating a less favourable environment for bacteria. If you have a bacterial infection, Care Cystitis Relief sachets can ease symptoms, but they do not replace the need for antibiotics.

How long do Care Cystitis Relief Sachets take to work?

Care Cystitis Relief sachets typically start to ease cystitis symptoms within a few hours. However, it’s important to continue your treatment as indicated, even if symptoms improve early on.

Who can take Care Cystitis Relief Sachets?

Care Cystitis Relief Sachets are suitable for relieving symptoms of cystitis in women. These sachets are not recommended if you:

• Are allergic to any of the sachet’s ingredients.
• Suffer from heart or kidney disease
• Have high blood pressure
• Have diabetes
• Are on a low-sodium diet
• Are pregnant or breastfeeding

How to Take Care Cystitis Relief Sachets

Follow these steps to take Care Cystitis Relief Sachets:

• Mix one sachet into a glass of water (about 200ml)
• Drink immediately after mixing

Take one sachet three times a day for two days, ensuring you space them evenly throughout the day. Even if you feel better sooner, finish the recommended two-day course to avoid symptoms reoccurring.

You should also ensure you drink lots of water throughout the day to help flush out any bacteria and avoid alcohol, caffeine, and spicy foods that may irritate your bladder.

Most people don’t experience any side effects whilst taking Care Cystitis Relief Sachets. However, you may find you pass water more frequently.

Active Ingredient: Sodium Citrate Dihydrate 4 g

Other Ingredients: sucrose, colloidal silicon dioxide, saccharin sodium, cranberry flavour.
