What are Xyzal Tablets used for?

Xyzal Tablets are used to relieve allergy symptoms. They help treat:

  • Allergic rhinitis: This includes seasonal allergies like hay fever and year-round allergies from dust or pet dander.
  • Urticaria: Also known as hives, it causes red, itchy welts on the skin.

Who is Xyzal suitable for?

Xyzal is suitable for:

  • Adults and children aged 6 years and older.
  • People who suffer from allergic rhinitis or urticaria.

Xyzal is not recommended for:

  • Children under 6 years old.
  • Individuals with severe kidney disease who require dialysis.
  • Anyone allergic to levocetirizine or similar antihistamines.

How do Xyzal tablets work?

Xyzal contains levocetirizine dihydrochloride, an antihistamine. It works by blocking histamine, a substance your body makes during an allergic reaction. This helps reduce symptoms like sneezing, itching, runny nose, and hives.
