Peptac Aniseed Flavour Antacid – 500ml is a treatment used to tackle heartburn and acid reflux. It offers fast and effective relief from acid reflux symptoms, allowing you to get on with life without the interruption of heartburn and indigestion.
The aniseed flavour makes it easy for you to take.
It works by creating a barrier that sits on top of the stomach contents, helping to prevent acid and food from flowing back up into the oesophagus.
Always take Peptac Aniseed Flavour Antacid exactly as directed in the patient information leaflet, or as advised by your doctor or our Health Nest pharmacist.
Adults: 10-20ml after meals and at bedtime.
Children: 5-10ml after meals and at bedtime.
There are no known side effects of Peptac Aniseed Flavour Antacid; however, if you experience any side effects, including any not included in the patient information leaflet, you can report them using the MHRA Yellow Card Scheme.
Seek emergency medical attention if you notice any signs of a severe allergic reaction, symptoms of which include swelling of the face and throat, skin rash, breathing difficulties and/or loss of consciousness.
Peptac Aniseed Flavour Antacid may be unsuitable for certain people. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
Please consult your doctor or a Health Nest pharmacist if you are taking any other medications, including those obtained without a prescription.
This medication can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, you must ask your doctor or Health Nest pharmacist for advice before taking any new medicine.Â
Store in a cool, dry place out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date, referring to the last day of the month stated on the packaging. Do not throw away any medicines via wastewater or household waste.
