Care Aqueous Calamine Cream is a soothing cream which can help to ease sunburn and other mild skin conditions. It helps to reduce inflammation, easing side effects of sunburn, chickenpox, insect bites or stings, and other minor conditions gently and effectively.
Sunburn happens when your skin is exposed to too much sun, which can damage the skin, leaving it feeling sore and uncomfortable. Sunburn will usually clear up within a week by itself, but many people look for remedies which can make the area less irritated until it heals. Aqueous Calamine Cream contains two active ingredients which work together to soothe sunburn and other mild skin conditions, these are calamine and zinc oxide. These ingredients work as a mild astringent, cleansing your skin and reducing inflammation, perfect for easing sunburn.

Some medications can interact when used together, causing unwanted side effects or making your medication less effective, but a medical professional can help you to avoid this.

Before using this product, make sure that the skin in the affected area is clean and dry. Apply liberally to the affected skin as often as needed.
Do not use Aqueous Calamine Cream if you are allergic to calamine, zinc oxide, or any of the other listed ingredients. For external use only, keep out of contact with eyes or other sensitive areas. Do not apply this product before having an x-ray, as it may affect the outcome of your x-ray examination.
Like all medications, Aqueous Calamine Cream can have side effects, although not everyone will experience them. These include side effects caused by irritation or an allergic reaction, e.g. skin rash, redness, itching. If you experience these or any other side effects while using this product, stop use and speak to your doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist right away. Store in a cool, dry place which is below 25 degrees C. Do not freeze. Do not use if the expiry date printed on carton has passed. When opened, use within 12 months. Keep out of sight and reach of children.
