Canesten Combi – Dual Action Treatment for Vaginal Thrush
Canesten Combi offers complete relief from vaginal thrush by treating both internal infection and external symptoms in one convenient package. With two targeted creams—one for internal use and one for external irritation—Canesten Combi helps relieve itching, discomfort, and inflammation, while addressing the underlying fungal infection at its source.
This product is ideal for those experiencing thrush symptoms and looking for a clinically proven, dual-action solution.
What Is Thrush?
Vaginal thrush is a common fungal infection caused by an overgrowth of Candida, a yeast that naturally lives in the vagina. When the balance of natural flora is disrupted—by stress, antibiotics, hormonal changes, or other triggers—Candida can multiply and lead to infection.
Typical symptoms of thrush include:
- Vaginal itching or soreness
- Redness and swelling around the vulva
- Thick, white vaginal discharge (similar to cottage cheese)
- Discomfort during sex or urination
How Does Canesten Combi Work?
Canesten Combi contains two creams that work together to treat thrush internally and externally:
- Internal Cream: Contains clotrimazole, an antifungal agent that targets the Candida yeast directly at the site of infection.
- External Cream: Also contains clotrimazole and is used to soothe itching, soreness, and redness around the vulva.
- Together, these formulations relieve both the cause and the symptoms of thrush.
Who Can Use Canesten Combi?
Canesten Combi is suitable for women aged 16 to 60 who:
- Have previously been diagnosed with thrush
- Recognise the symptoms of a recurring infection
- Are not on their period during treatment
- Have no known allergies to clotrimazole or other ingredients
Do Not Use Canesten Combi If You:
- Are under 16 or over 60 years of age

If you’re unsure whether your symptoms are caused by thrush, consult a GP or pharmacist before use.
