This helps interrupt the cough reflex, giving your throat time to recover while helping you feel more comfortable.

Who Can Use Benylin Dry Cough Original?

This medicine is suitable for:

• Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over

Do not use this product if you:

• Are under 12 years of age
• Are allergic to dextromethorphan or any of the other ingredients
• Are currently taking or have recently taken monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) (used to treat depression)
• Have a chronic cough related to smoking, asthma, or emphysema, unless advised by a healthcare professional

Speak to your doctor or pharmacist before use if you:

• Have liver or kidney problems
• Are pregnant or breastfeeding
• Are taking other medicines, especially sedatives or medications that affect the central nervous system
• Have a history of substance misuse

How to Take Benylin Dry Cough Original

• Adults and children over 12 years: Take two 5ml spoonfuls (10ml) up to four times daily
• Do not exceed the suggested doses on the product.
• Do not use for more than 7 consecutive days unless advised by a healthcare professional
• Always use the provided measuring spoon or a calibrated medicine spoon
